This year we saw a record number of candidates sitting in AIEEE 2009. More than 70 million students sat in AIEEE 2009 and competed for a number of  prestigious institutes like NITs or other private and government colleges.Â
Many of you would be feeling a bit confused as to which college you should choose or which branch to choose. It is but natural to think like that. As there are so many colleges and so many branches to choose from.

money is no perspective to carry on education….this is a very wrong approach….i have for long told students not to worry about placements and all….just to worry about their performance….

i think you should not waste one year just dropping….take a good branch in any NITs…..that way even if you dont qualify next year you will have something on your hand rather than nothing…..i have seen students who drop one year and get even lesser rank and waste one year for what..?…nothing….

jss is obviously much better than SRM modinagar…..it is a UPTU college….placements are secured….DRDO and AIR FORCE visit the campus…..what else do you want….

And let me tell u that I am crazy only abt EC and no other branch suites me better ! Z thr any hope to get ec in IIT Allahabad ,Jk university allahabad , Jaipur university or in any of the BITS ??? they are just operating in iit madras…..it is not actually iit madras…..so get out your dream…..go to bits pilani…..it is at par….and you will get same level of education with lots of facilities…..

dont worry rakshita…..try in different NITs……dont just stick to warangal or trichy…..this is problem with most of the students…..inspite of looking for better options they try to stick to one thing letting the better options pass away….
By the way the closing rank of IIIT D&M Kancheepuram is 9600 …is there a probability of getting seat in the next rounds of councelling?

for you piyush SRM modinagar campus will be better than jiet guna…..this is becoz placement scenario there is somewhat better…..
Have u ever seen the placement stats of JIET its much better than any lower NITs even and forget about some SRM(MODINAGAR) the highest placement offered was around Rs.19 Lacs ……
I AM TELLING THIS BECAUSE JUST BECAUSE I AM A CSE 2nd YEAR STUDENT OVER THERE…………
the most imp thing about JIET-GUNA is its above academic rigour with JIIT-NOIDA and syllabus and examination as the same as JIIT-NOIDA &JUIT-SOLAN.
MIND IT ITS EVEN BETTER THAN NITs……..

you can get mnnit by state quota…..and on this rank i think you can get mechanical easily…..you can even get electrical if you’re lucky…..well best of luck….

at aieee counselling AIR is seen…..as far as i see people with marks less than 100 are not eligible for 1st counselling…..
i got 27000 all india rank and 21k gen category rank…. ma punjab state rank is 802… which stream can i get in NIT jallandhar… can i try for NIT’s outside my state also???
