BANSAL CLASSES – IS IT GOOD ENOUGH..??…
Bansal Classes, Kota is one of the many Coaching Institutes that have sprang up in the past years in the field of IITJEE preparation. And going by the number of students competiting from here it has build quite a reputation for itself. So what makes Bansal Classes what it is today? What is so special that sets it apart from just another coaching institutes? What is it about Bansal classes that has made it a synonym for excellence? I am going to tell why this institutes stands out of its league to catch the eye straight from the word go.
MY VIEWS ON BANSAL CLASSES : What makes it catch the eye..?…
So as I told you Bansal Classes has earned quite a reputation for itself in the past few years. The reason..?..They are as follows….
1. Teachers : The major factor that separates a pro from an amateur is that a pro is trained to face any situation. And that is where a Good Teacher comes in question. Everyone knows the syllabus of IITJEE then why doesn’t everyone qualifies it? The answer is simple. Everyone does not have a good teacher to guide him or her to success.
Bansal Classes provides you just that. An edge over the others in the form of good teachers. I accept that many of the good teachers are leaving Bansal Classes but still BC commands some of the very best teachers in Kota region.
2. Method of Teaching : I have talked to many a students who have qualified IITJEE from here and one thing that caught my attention was the method of teaching in place here. The classes are of ONE hour each and you get 3-4 classes of each subject in a week. The teachers discuss problems in class and Every student maintains proper notes for future reference.
Plus the thing i liked was everyday you are given a DPP ( Daily Practice Problems ) of each subject related to the topics that are going on. So you have enough material to practice. And then there are the Study Materials of each subject with three different levels. Level 1 comprises simple questions. Level 2 is the toughest. Level 3 comprises previous years questions of IIT related to that topic.
3. Quality of Students : It is not only the teachers that makes it what it is today. Entry in Bansal classes is through a tough test so not everyone can enroll here. This makes sure that if you are selected here you get some good company. Living and studying with someone with a good mind can only benefit you.
4. Location : Bansal Classes was located right in the heart of Kota, i.e Vigyan nagar. It was a place with nearly 10000 students living here but still this place had the infrastructure to support such a large number of students.
Well from this year or next Bansal Classes will shift to a new location called the Gaurav Towers. This place doesn’t have such good hostels or messes or the infrastructure to support such a large number of students. This point goes slightly in the negative but still Bansal Classes will be considered as one of the heavy weights of the coaching industry.
SO if you are going to choose a coaching institute Bansal classes is a good option.

hi sir,
I have passed my class xii this year.I want to drop one year and join some engineering coaching in kota.can u tell me which other coachings should I apply for besides Bansal.I will be greatly obliged to you if u will tell me which books should i read for clearing bansal’s entrance test for sterling.
@aakriti
well, i don’t usually give advise on books for bansal preparation….but can say you must have your concepts clear….
sir,
I shashank ,presently a student of class X ,raebareli,wants to join a coaching institute for IIT JEE in KOTA
Firstly I wanted to join Bansal but in last 20-30days I am listening that now the bansal is not at that level on which it was .
Is that true?
what do you think about the coaching that I must join . Please give some ideas
Thanking You
Shashank
@shashank
try for vidya mandir classes….
resonance is better for an average student since they give more attention than bansal
@sanchit
rightly said sanchit….i would like to say here that my views on Bansal classes are of late changing….the are becoming more money minded than ever….
bansal classes r not so good, they just make students cram up like anything.
instead vmc in delhi is far more betters.
our teachers are awesome(especially for physics and maths)
and their is no discrimination among any of the batches.
unlike bansal, they do not stuff students in the classroom
vmc’s entrance test is far more difficult than that of bansals(a personal experience)
and bansal does not have any proper study material, they just recommend books
@aakash
i have said earlier also that my views about bansal is changing of late…they are growing more money minded than ever….!!
are the teachers better for batches of bulls eye than acme or does it depend on your rank. please tell me soon so that i could join bansal classes for acme course
which institute is better ?? AAKASH OR BANSAL .
@navneet
ofcourse bansal is better….have no doubt about it….akash focuses and specializes mainly on medical….
wats AIEEE FOR??
if i dont pass jee then do i hav to give cet
is there any diff in their portion???
n one more thing if i dont make it to iit then wat shuld i do????/
@srinath
if you don’t make it to IIT’s then go for any other college….there are hundreds of good colleges in india…..
if you score good rank in aieee then go for it if you are getting a good branch in a good college…..
bansal classes will not ensure you getting into IIT’s…..they will just help you build a basic understanding of your course….rest is upto you….
HEy i wanted ur help…
like im abt to pass out frm 10th and i want to go to kota to study at bansal…
but my mom n dad r sayin that i wuldnt be able to live there alone
and 11th n 12th r very important that i need their attention…
i study good i usually get a A grade
plzz help me…..
how can it happen??
do i hav to dedicate one yaer after 12th for iit jee prep???
@srinath
no there is no need for dedicating a year after 12th…..you can manage it in 11th and 12th only…..
if your parents are telling you that you would not be able to live alone then there must be a reason to it….
but if you are sure that you can live alone and study(most importantly) then going to kota is ok….
and one more important thing…..going to bansal classes kota does not guarantee success….its just a tool…..how you use it is upto you…!!
Can u plz suggest sum books i shud study in order to clear the entrance exam for BANSALS…..
Sum people told me that correspondence courses are gud to clear the bansal entrance exam ( in order to secure a gud rank)but now the whole year has pass’d and m not sure that i cud get the time to study the correspondence course to clear the entsrance test( bull’s eye)! plz rply.
@joseph
i think you should just concentrate on your course material rather than preparing for bansal entrance. don’t forget your main goal is to clear IIT not Bansal. just don’t pressurize your self with worthless exams as Bansal’s entrance test. just read the course material and you’ll surely qualify.
i am a parent of an aspirant,i want to know which batches are considered good in bansal classes for one year courses? he was earlier in “D 10″ batch,now he is in “C 1″.is it good ?as i am very busy with my work i do not have much time to go there and enquire.
@nishant
C1 batch is good….but the point is if he has gone from D10 to C1 then surely he has made an effort….
but it is important that you give appropriate time to your child….
just log on to bansal’s website and keep track of your child’s performance….
hey!!
i wanna know how many students r in each batch!!
i have heard that its over 100 but isnt it too much!!
how can a teacher teach so many students at a time??…
moreover , i m joining sterling course….as we get only 10 months of preparation , will we get proper guidance from teachers??
@bharat
dont think so much…..you are going there to study not to evaluate their educational system…..yes there are 100 students in each batch but you just focus on yourself not on 99 others…..thats how students compete from there…..you will get all the guidance you need from the teachers……just focus on your main aim….
and if you need any help regarding preparation you can always contact me…..i will be grateful to help you…

Hi iam the student of 10th class.
I have heard that if anyone wants to clear IIT with good rank then he/she should join Bansal classes but the only thing i am worried about is the stress & pressure which we will be facing there……i have also seen many students leaving Kota and coming back to there home town…. so you are requsted to please help me out & also give the tips for clearing the tough enterance exam as soon as possible…….
7 teachers got out of bc what u will ssay abt this.Is it now safer to join bansal classes???
@akash….
see akash teachers is just one point i have given to join bansal classes….the methodology applied by them is just superb/….jo teachers tumhnein notes denge unhein dhyan se padhna….books ki jaroorat hi nahi padegi….
Are you a bansalite?
Can you give me some tips to pass its enterance exam with good results?
Which publications books I should prefer?
Please email me as soon as you can.
@praveen
hey bansal’s entrance examination is said to be the toughest because of its conceptual nature….the questions are very conceptual and if you are relying on just remembering everything then forget it….you will have to apply your brain here….
vg gone..sachin singh gone…
bansal classes no more in vigyan nagar..its at gaurav tower now(oh uve mentioned that)
First of all I want to tell that it is not going to shift any where it has already been shifted to Gaurav Tower, but there is no residential facility in 1km radius of it(which does not matter though).
No doubt a student gets most toughest competition, which helps him in score a good rank in JEE. A student gets good number of high class question which helps him clear his concepts.
But as you said,”So which ever batch you get be sure you will get a good teacher.” I want to correct you. You won’t get good teachers in last batches. And this year since lot of best teachers have left Bansal the chance of getting good teachers will be lesser.But if are in good batches then you will certainly get best of teachers.
As far as residential facilities are concerned you will certainly not get very good(not even good) rooms and food.
So, If you want to come to Bansal Classes see all its good and points.
