My son is studying in 9th and I wnat him to appear for IIT-JEE after his 12th. Resonance has started a branch in Thane , is it advisable for him to join from 9th or 10th, and will it be similar to thier Kota facilities.

please don’t burden him sir…..let him handle his 9th and 10th….let him have his own perspective….
have you even thought that maybe he wants to become a Doctor or Photographer or businessman or book writer or enterpreneur or anything else….when you wrote here that “YOU” want him to do IIT, and that too when he is in 9th, it shows narrow mindedness of yours….
you know people like you are blocking India’s overall growth….even if your son is having a very good brain, doesn’t mean he is made for IIT….
you will not believe how much scope other streams are having….the chartered accountant in my company get paid more that you can ever imagine….
my friend is a rally car driver….even he makes ten times more money than I do….and i make a lot….!!
so let him choose for himself….don’t make him rush into things….
when he goes into 11th sit with him, ask him what does he wants….don’t try to influence his decision…
if then he wants to go to IIT, get him into a good coaching….you know why…??…because two years is more than enough for IIT preparation…

i am very very good at objective approach and i want to repeat through bansal.
my ques is will the pattern of jee change to subjective?
i only want comp sci as my future subject.
will i get admission if i get a rank arround 4500 in cs may not be in any iits but may in some other good colleges like it-bhu or varanasi or any other top ranking colleges on the basis of my jee rank???

it is difficult to get CS branch at 4500 rank in IITs or ISM or IT-BHU…..you should take a good branch somewhere in the old IITs….

bansal and resonance are the best…..teachers are ofcourse migrating but bansal and resonance must surely be hiring new and talented teachers…..
that it what i liked about bansal when i was there….there were young and energetic teachers who were fully dedicated to their jobs….

you have attempted 70 out of 90….if you get 60 out of 70 right you may as well get A4-A7 batch…..

bansal classes is obviously the best…..but it doesn’t take direct admission….but it has hostel facility….
about direct admission i think it will be better if you called the institute directly and ask about it…..

the best institutes always take admission tests….the best ones are bansal, resonance, career point…..you can call them and explain them your position that you cannot come so far to give admission tests….they will surely respond positively if you convey your difficulties directly to them….

it is a real piece of irony akshit…..earlier people used to ask how to prepare for for IIT…..now people ask how to prepare for IIT entrance….
well, i don’t have much data on bansal entrance exams….i can only tell you about the pattern of the paper….
the pattern of the paper will be very conceptual….especially the physics and mathematics part….chemistry will be as usual….memorizing some parts will be helpful and increase your speed….

as i have always said bansal classes is the best coaching institute as far as accomodation and an overall curriculum is concerned….
bansal classes has its own hostel facility….and the way it handles the course is superb….the only thing you’ve got to think about is studies…..
you will have to perform from the word GO….if you don’t score good marks in the first 2-3 tests then you don’t get a good batch….
resonance is also good….it does not have hostel facility but accomodation is easily available….the only thing good about resonance is you can improve your batch after every test….so there is not so much pressure…..if you performed badly in one test just do good in another….

they have their own acomodation facility….even if you want to stay outside you can get accomodation very easily….
once you are there don’t worry about where you’ll live….there are thousands of students there….i’m sure you’ll find someone to help you out there itself…
but before you go make some arrangements before hand….call bansal classes and explain your situation….and foremost reserve a room at some hotel before hand…
who knows you may have to stay for a day or two….at the time of admissions it is very difficult to find a hotel room….so make arrangements accordingly…

Do’s and don’ts while studying in kota:-
1. don’t make friends
2. avoid living in hostel
3. have faith in your institute and teachers
4. dnt try to knw wat is going in other institutes
5. believe in quality of d study material ur institute is providing to u. dnt buy extra books(dnt believe in quantity). follow ur institute and study material of ur institute only.
6. try to live at one place if possible. dnt change room during d course.
7. dnt miss any lecture
8. very imp-dnt loose patience.

Sir, I want to inform you that one of my friends, ANKIT MISHRA…..is in the first batch of RESONANCE and scored 3rd rank in its periodic test last time…..He told me that he would join the individuals and also opted it for me too……Please sir can you give me your contact no. so that I can talk you…… it takes one day to get the informations by this method……please……
But joining in RESONANCE or BANSAL is far better than joining individuals……..

individuals are not bad….you just have to find the right one…..in resonance or bansal also there may be times when you don’t like the teacher…..it is no problem…..

yes ayush….i think you have been a little late for BANSAL…..the tests would have been over by now….but that doesn’t close the options….you can still contact them…..or you can contact resonance….they are good too…..FIITJEE is also good….especially the delhi branch….

go to KOTA….take admission in bansal classes…..but be careful….bansal’s admission test is tough….so do prepare for it…..this will decide your batch…..a good batch means good teachers…..

well rupender, resonance and bansal are the two best coaching classes in kota…..but bansal is better…..i am telling this from personal experience…..the system at bansal is very good….you will definitely benefit from it…..so go give the entrance test and try to get a good batch….

see kota is famous for bansal or resonance or should i say combined kind of coaching…..so i think you should go for some combined form…..individual teachers are just there to make money…..they will not give you the same material that bansal or resonance would give…..
for iitjee, best institute is bansal classes then it comes resonance, then career point.
most of d brilliant students join bansal classes(marks more dan 80 pc), remaining join resonance.. despite of its lower quality of students dan bansal classes, resonance s givin gud results evry year.. thus u can guess hw much hard work s done by resonance. i also was a studnt of resonance in 2005-2006.
so for iitjee join either bansal or resonance.
For aieee join career point as dis provides best coaching for aieee alongwith iitjee.. nd do not live in any hostel in kota. get a room on rent wid less comfort nd join any gud mess.. best of luck.

bansal classes focuses on aieee and iit jee more and this you have heard right…..it does not mean that you should opt for bansal only after high school…..they give you enough to score good marks in boards…..afterall i have myself studied for bansal classes…..and i always felt they teach that sufficiently that you can score well in boards as well as get qualify IIT….

i want to tell u something over your answer that bansal is the best option:- sir offcourse it is the better choice but for those who i\are in top 3 batches and in else it is worst instite because sir m also in kota and i was selected in bansal but had not gone into it because i have seen that in lower batches , teachers of schools are givimg matters so it dont work , but in top 3 batches the BANSAL sir itself teaching students and students will definitely be selected in iit for sure but in lower batches no chances
