Indian Scientists invent a new cure for Diabetes
Indian Scientists invented a new kind of insulin which is more effective than the existing insulin in market.
The insulin that is in use right now by the diabetes patients lasts for one day. Thus every patient has to take a dose of insulin every day.
But the new insulin that has been developed lasts for a whole month. This technology has been patented.
This technology was developed at a meagre cost of Rs. 20 lakh or $50,000. But the revenue aspect according to the scientists which includes royalties is huge.
India has the largest number of diabetes patients in the world, i.e. around 5 crore or 50 million.
This has become quite worrying as India is becoming the diabetes capitol of the world. Thus this new discovery will surely be welcomed by all.
